Cell Phone Recycling Drop-off Each Alpine Bank location is a drop-off point for old cell phones. Just bring in your old cell phone (please make sure it is inactive) and any accompanying accessories and we will send them to our recycling provider.
CFL Bulb Recycling In partnership with Holy Cross Energy, the Glenwood Springs Alpine Bank location (2200 Grand Avenue) accepts burned out CFL light bulbs for recycling. These bulbs contain a very small amount of mercury and should be recycled versus thrown out to end up in our local landfill.
Self Service Paper Shredding In partnership with Paper Wise shredding and recycling, Alpine Bank Glenwood Springs (2200 Grand Avenue) has a new, secure, self-service paper shredding machine location in the vestibule by the ATM machine. The machine is accessed by pre-paid shred cards, available at our teller line, for $1.00. The cards allow you 2-minutes of shred time, or you can use a $1, $5, or $10.00 bills. The shredder can be accessed 24-hours a day.
Raptor Education Fund and Driving for Wildlife The Denver-based Raptor Education Foundation offers the only state-authorized program to issue license plates that support the environment. All that is required to Drive For Wildlife is to make a modest one time tax-exempt donation to the Denver-based Raptor Education Foundation and pay a one-time fee of $25 to your county motor vehicle department. The plate is transferable from vehicle to vehicle as long as you are the owner of the vehicle. Visit www.usaref.org for details.
