Saving has never been easier with any of the Alpine Savings Options. Choose from a Savings Account, Time Deposit (Certificate of Deposit or Individual Retirement Account), and U. S. Savings Bonds.
Savings Account
A savings account is a great way to encourage young people to save and to teach them the value of savings.
- Children under the age of 18 can have an Alpine Savings Account with no maintenance fee and no minimum balance
- You will earn interest on balances of $20.00* or more
- Statements are issued quarterly for your convenience
- You can withdraw six times per quarter without incurring withdrawal charges ($1.00 per withdrawal thereafter)
- $100.00 balance required to avoid quarterly maintenance fee of $10.00
- Federal regulation prohibits more than six pre-authorized transfers per month. In person withdrawls are unlimited.
Time Deposits and U.S. Savings Bonds
For a higher yield from your savings consider these options:
- IRA (including Roth, and Traditional IRAs, as well as Education Savings Accounts)
- Certificates of Deposit (varying terms)
- United States Savings Bonds
