Let me tell you a story about a Missouri farmer. He was raised to be accountable… to say what you mean and to mean what you say. He ended up a U.S. President, and on his desk he had a sign that said, “The buck stops here.”

Let me tell you where Alpine Bank stands, and why we’re different.
When you visit our lobbies do you see those tellers who are also husbands, wives, sons and daughters who work here? Well, they, not the company, not outside shareholders… they are the majority stockholders in Alpine Bank. Their ownership makes them accountable. They are proud of what they do and how they do it.

You hear us use the words ‘we care’ often, but let me tell you why we say them and mean them.
In every western slope community we serve, our employees (numbering close to 600) volunteer over 240 hours every week within our schools, with arts and music programs, environment causes, and human service nonprofit groups. That adds up to over 12,500 volunteer hours each year. They do this on their own accord, because they care. They care about making sure our local groups have the resources they need to help those in need. They care about making our communities a better place for everyone.
I am proud of each and every one of our employee volunteers because they are also the owners of Alpine Bank. They will ensure our communities will receive caring support into the future.
