2007 - High Country Conservation Center in Summit County features Alpine Bank in their "Eartha Steward's Guide to Green Living in the High Country" booklet. The booklet, lists 10 things we can do everyday to make a difference, Banking & Investing was listed as #10 and included Alpine as the sole local financial institution resource.

2007 – Alpine Bank Glenwood Springs is awarded the Glenwood Springs Chamber Top Brass Award for business achievement and milestones. The award is in recognition of Alpine’s environmental efforts.

2006 – Alpine Bank in Steamboat Springs is awarded ‘Outstanding Recycler of the Year’ by the New Pioneers of the Yampa Valley

2006 – Alpine Bank of Grand Junction wins the Governor John A. Love at El Pomar Foundation Award for Excellence

2006 – Colorado’s Best Companies award 5th place in the Large Business Category to Alpine Bank

2006 – On July 7, Alpine Bank reached $2 billion dollars in assets. Employees received $50 for each year they worked for the bank.

2006 – Alpine Bank achieves ISO 14001:2004 environmental certification.

2006 – Alpine Bank wins the City of Aspen’s Green Leaf award for its environmental efforts.

2006 – Chairman Bob Young receives the Glenwood Springs Chamber Resort Association “Athena Award”. Only 5% of persons receiving this award nation-wide is male.

2005 – Colorado Parent Magazine’s Top Company awards Alpine Bank 3rd place in the medium business category for Family Friendly business practices.

2005 – “Best of the Best” award and “Judges Special Recognition” award in the ABA Marketing Network 2005 Advertising Awards for Alpine Bank’s “Alpine Swines” Project for Literacy campaign.

2005 – Colorado Business Committee for the Arts “Medium Business Award” winner for excellence and educational value of the arts.

2004 - Alpine Bank was a finalist in ColoradoBiz Ethics in Business Award for innovation in Marketing. The Alpine Bank Loyalty Card Campaign was the featured highlight in our entry.

2003 - Alpine Bank again won the Colorado Parent Magazine’s Top Company Award for Family Friendly business practices.

2002 - Alpine Bank finished number 20 in ColoradoBiz magazine's list of Top 100 Colorado Companies in Terms of Assets.

2002 - Alpine Bank- Glenwood won the Top Brass award from the Glenwood Springs Chamber Resort Association.

2001 - Alpine Bank was honored with the 1st place in the Colorado Parent Magazine's top company awards for family friendly workplace in the medium sized business category.

2001 - Alpine Bank was awarded the Personal Economics Program (P.E.P) "Bank of the Year" from the Colorado Bankers Association.

2001 - Alpine Banks of Colorado won the "Company of the Year" award sponsored by ColoradoBiz magazine and the DU College of Business.

2000 - Alpine Bank was honored with 2nd place in the Colorado Parent Magazine's top company awards for family friendly workplace in the medium sized business category.

1999 - Colorado Parent Magazine named Alpine Bank the winner of the medium sized company category for their family friendly workplace.

1999 - Alpine Bank received the "Colorado Ethics in Business Award," sponsored by the DU Daniels College of Business and ColoradoBiz magazine.

1999 - Chairman Bob Young won the Glenwood Springs "Citizen of the Year" award from the Chamber of Commerce. 

1997 - Colorado Parent Magazine named Alpine Bank the winner in the medium sized company category for their family friendly workplace.

1997 - Alpine Bank was named a "Childrens Champion" by the Colorado Association for the Education of the Young Child.

1997 - Alpine was named in a list of progressive Colorado companies that invest in family friendly policies.

1997 - Alpine Bank was a finalist for the Colorado Ethics in Business Awards sponsored in part by Denver University.

1997 - Bob Young was named the "Western Colorado Philanthropist of Year," along with Jim Calaway, for their generosity to the community.

1997 - Colorado Biz magazine ranked Alpine Banks of Colorado the second largest privately held holding company in the state.

1996 - Independent Banker magazine named Alpine Bank one of the Top 10 Best Performing Banks in the United States. The Colorado Children's Campaign named Alpine Bank the "Best Small Business of the Year" in the Colorado Kids First! Campaign.

1996 - After the Congressional budget stalemate, Norm Franke, president of Alpine Bank-Grand Junction, was named "ABC News Person of the Week" for a program that gave interest-free "Paycheck Loans" to federal employees.

1996 - The Glenwood Springs Chamber of Commerce honored Alpine Bank with the "Business of the Year" award.

1995 - CEO Bob Young was named "Colorado's Outstanding Philanthropist" by the state Philanthropy Day committee.

1993 - Alpine Bank won the "Blue Chip Enterprise Award" from the US Chamber of Commerce, and Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance. Alpine Bank was one of four Colorado business to receive the honor.

1992 - Alpine Bank reached $200 million in assets and celebrated the milestone by donating $20,000 to nonprofit agencies in the community.

1990 - Alpine Bank was named "Business of the Year"- Northwest Region by the Colorado Association of Commerce and Industry.
