IT - Business Analyst - Rifle  APPLY HERE

The Alpine Bank IT Department is looking for a full time Business Analyst to administer our Synergy Document Image System which includes installation, configuration, monitoring, updating, troubleshooting, future planning and even end user installation, training and support. As an Alpine Bank Business Analyst you would also be required to learn other systems and be a backup to other Business Analysts and their systems. Normal work days are Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 5pm. The successful candidate will have prior knowledge and experience with document imaging systems, SQL database management, windows servers, networking and banking software knowledge is a plus. This position will require some off-site training, semi-annual disaster recovery testing and occasional application updates on weekends or evenings. Will require working closely with other business analysts, the network and PC teams, Alpine employee’s and the software vendor. Will require good communication and interpersonal skills to implement changes and improvements to meet requirements of users and departments.

Candidate will play a key role in the change management process involving changes and interfaces to other systems. Will evaluate, prioritize, manage and test newly incorporated features/enhancements with various departments as needed. Will prepare and execute testing and data validation of new development and enhancements. Will work closely with the vendor’s support personnel to resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. Assist in the optimization and performance efforts in database systems through the deployment of solutions to the database environments. Responsible for maintenance and support of interfaces into Synergy, including Laser Pro and Silverlake and any other systems as necessary. Responsible for release upgrades and patch installation for Synergy and Assureon SAN to keep all systems up-to-date. Works closely with the designated IT Network staff to keep them informed of upgrades to ensure support is available when needed. Will be responsible for testing system functionality during semi-annual Disaster recovery testing. To succeed in this position, this individual will need to have the ability to multi-task and be a confident self-directed worker. He/she should be able to prioritize tasks in the most time effective manner, have strong oral and written communication skills. It is anticipated this individual will be tech savvy, detail oriented and have the ability to learn administrative functions for various applications. Must exhibit strong teamwork ethics, be active in department and bank functions, help with projects, and exhibit a positive attitude. Preferred qualifications – College course or certified database\systems administration training (MCSA – SQL Server , MSCE). 2-4 years’ experience in the Database administration or systems administration, knowledge of banking software and document retention systems. A high level functional and technical working knowledge of the Microsoft SQL Server suite of products. Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience.
