Montrose Donuts and Deli began in 2017, and specializes in homemade donuts made from scratch, along with sandwiches and smoothies. Founders Vuthy and Nancy Soeur ran the operation for two years, then passed it to the next family member, Piseth Soeur, who in turn passed it to current owner Thyda Chan Om.
“It was a good opportunity and we liked the financial stability,” said Thyda. “And it’s something we can pass on to our family. We like the Montrose location and we owned another business in the area.”
Thyda is married to a Marine Corps veteran, and she appreciates the local support they receive for their veteran-owned business. In fact, the local perspective is the reason she chose to bank Montrose Donuts and Deli with Alpine.
“I wanted to support another local business,” she said.
“I bank with Alpine because I wanted to support another local business.”
