We thought the best way to announce the opening of Alpine Bank’s Denver Tech Center branch was to give back to our community. So we asked who you would help if you had a spare $10,000. And after carefully considering the amazing stories of our 269 nominees, the winner of $10,000 from Alpine Bank is Equine Partnership Program!
“We found so many worthy organizations and an equal number of compassionate people who nominated them,” said Charlie Kercheval, president of Alpine Bank Denver Tech Center. “Equine Partnership stood out with the powerful work they do, heartwarming stories of the profound help they offer so many people dealing with different challenges.”
Equine Partnership Program (EPP) is a nonprofit organization that rescues abused horses and uses them as therapists to help rehabilitate kids who’ve gone through extreme trauma. To learn more about EPP, visit http://equinetherapyco.com/.
After reading so many compelling stories, Alpine Bank was moved to give away $5,000 to two other remarkable organizations—Phamaly Theatre Company, a nonprofit group which features actors with disabilities and Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep, a nonprofit which helps families who’ve lost children at birth.

As Alpine Bank’s founder and Chairman Bob Young is fond of saying, “Giving back isn’t good for the bottom line, it is the bottom line.”
