Caring for Grieving Kids: a Message from Judi’s House

Observed each November, Children’s Grief Awareness Month is an opportunity to show children they are not forgotten and that there is support, hope and healing to be found.

Since 2002, Denver-based nonprofit Judi’s House has supported more than 11,000 children and families grieving a death find connection and healing. With a vision that no child should be alone in grief, Judi’s House created a new, free virtual workshop for parents, guardians and adults who are caring for grieving children. Offered twice monthly, the Caring for Grieving Kids workshop is limited in size to encourage dialogue among facilitators and attendees. If you know someone who might benefit from this workshop visit our website, judishouse.org/school-and-community for future dates and programs.

“It was a good way to get new ideas on how I can change and adjust to better support the young people in my life.” – Workshop Participant
