Donate to Project PACK

You can help children through traumatic events by donating emergency supplies to kids in the Roaring Fork School District. Donations can be dropped by the Alpine Bank branches in Basalt, Willits, Carbondale, Glenwood and West Glenwood through September 16.

Needed supplies include: new blankets, socks, underwear, pajamas, toiletries such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap and deodorant, feminine hygiene products, water bottles, snacks and gift cards.

Project PACK volunteers will provide children in need with crisis kits in response to situations where a child cannot return home during a family crisis, there is disclosure of abuse, homelessness, or traumatic change in
family or school circumstances.

“The plight of these children may not be visible to many of us in our community, but their need for our support is real,” said John Stelzriede, an active volunteer and president of Alpine Bank Glenwood. “Alpine Bank is proud to lend a hand to this important initiative.”

In addition to donating emergency supplies by drop off at the five Alpine branches (listed above), monetary donations can be made at any Alpine Bank branch to Project PACK: Two Rivers Community Fund.
