Free Dental Care Coming To The Western Slope!

The Colorado Mission of Mercy (COMOM) will hold a FREE dental clinic on Friday, October 4 and Saturday, October 5 at the Glenwood Springs High School. It is a“no questions asked”clinic, and adults and children of all ages are welcome.

With 125 portable dental chairs in operation and 200 dentists and hundreds of dental hygienists, assistants and other dental professionals participating, they will provide cleanings, fillings, root canal treatments, and extractions. More than $1million in donated oral healthcare services will be provided.

Individuals should arrive early, and can line up the night before. The doors will open at 6:00 am, and will remain open until the dental clinic is at capacity. There are no appointments, and no paperwork is required. Patients are treated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Jim Setterberg, DDS, a clinic co-chair explained, “Thousands of Coloradans can’t eat, sleep, work or function because of dental pain. COMOM is here to help, in particular, those across the western area of the state.”

COMOM encourages individuals and groups to get the word out to those in need of free dental care about this upcoming October clinic. More information is available online at www.COMOM.org, and by phone at 720-648-0918 (patients) or 720-648-0919 (volunteers).
