Alpine Bank Glenwood Springs President John Stelzriede is keen on discovery and self-improvement in both his personal life and career.
His penchant for exploration of our public land is representative of his outlook on many things: There are 59 national parks in the US, and John, his wife, and their two daughters have visited more than a third of them; 22 to be exact.
“We’re working on visiting as many national parks as we can as a family,” says John.
In addition to traveling, this 37-year Roaring Fork Valley resident spends time skiing, engaging in friendly competition over family board games, and staying fit.
His community contributions include service through the Glenwood Springs Rotary Club, participation on the finance committee of the Valley View Hospital Foundation, and taking part in the just-concluded Roaring Fork Leadership (RFL) academy course catalog. “RFL is a great community-level organization that provides tremendous opportunity for personal growth,” says John. “It aligns with my Alpine Bank work, where I get to work with a great group of professionals to make a positive difference for our clients, our community, and ourselves.
