On Sunday, February 10, the aroma of pancakes and bacon filled the air at the Elk’s Club in Silverthorne for a very worthy fundraising cause supporting the Blue River Horse Center (BRHC). Along with the delicious breakfast, the event featured a silent auction and live music.
This annual event serves about 250 people and has been a popular gathering spot for friends, family and horse lovers alike over the years. Alpine Bank loves being part of this delightful community breakfast. Funds raised directly support specific communication classes at the BRHC for five- to seven-year-old children and “Horse Handling and Leadership Training”for those age eight and above. All these opportunities take place on their beautiful ranch north of Silverthorne.
The BRHC has been a contributor to the Summit County community since 2001. Learn more at blueriverhorsecenter.org.
