“Winter Boulder Creek,” by Mary Lee Hill

Mary Lee Hill and her family relocated to Colorado in 1963. Once her children entered college, she focused on her art education. She attended Mesa College in Grand Junction, Scottsdale Art School, The Student Art League of Denver and Loveland Art Academy. She has earned numerous awards for her work in oils and pastels. For her most recent works, Hill studied the works of master painters, including master of floral still life Joyce Pike, brush work and color expert Quang Ho, pastel artist Doug Dawson and many others. Over her career, Hill has won numerous awards for her stunning oil and pastel paintings at both juried and non-juried art shows.
