You give back to Colorado. So do we!

Known as the Centennial State, Colorado entered the union as the 38th state on August 1, 1876, one hundred years after the American Revolution in 1776.

That, along with Palisade Peaches and Olathe Corn, is a big point of pride for Coloradans. If you’ve been here for long you probably know that our state tree is the Blue Spruce and our state flower is the Columbine. The Colorado state fish is the Greenback Cutthroat Trout and our state mammal is the Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep. We have 53 peaks that exceed 14,000 feet. What’s not to love?

And what’s more, Colorado Day is now recognized annually, every August 1. At Alpine Bank, we decided to celebrate by rewarding volunteerism and the vital work of community nonprofits that make our state so great.

Our Facebook Challenge sweepstakes is easy to enter and you and your friends and family can do so through the entire month of July. Nominate your favorite nonprofit—and it may just win $1,876!

Here’s how it works:

Step 1. Click the video that Alpine Bank posted on Facebook on July 1 about the $1,876 cash giveaway.

Step 2. “Like” the video.

Step 3. Comment with the name of your favorite nonprofit to be entered to win.

Step 4. Encourage your family, friends and other supporters to vote by following the three steps above!

It’s that easy. Although a person can only enter once, the nonprofit can be entered multiple times by different people, increasing its chances of winning the $1,876 cash award. Click here for full rules and regulations.

The deadline to enter is Saturday, July 31 at 10 PM MT.

Alpine Bank will announce the winning nonprofit and recipient of the $1,876 by August 10, 2021.

In addition to participating in our Facebook Challenge, we hope you’re inspired to volunteer in your town or city, and to explore the summits and valleys of Colorado in July in support of Colorado Day. We are.

See you around the community and on the trail!
