Alpine Bank has a longstanding commitment to support the communities we serve across Colorado. Locally, we are proud to partner with a diverse group of nonprofits that provide and create a greater sense of community in Garfield County and the Colorado River Valley, defined as the region from Glenwood Springs to Battlement Mesa. We generously fund various organizations and we consider requests without regard to race, gender, disability, religion, ethnicity, or sexual orientation.

In 2015 in the Colorado River Valley region (Glenwood to Battlement), Alpine Bank will accept grant/sponsorship applications on a monthly basis. A deadline for receipt of applications is the last business day of the month. Completed applications will be accepted by email no later than 4:00 p.m. on the deadline date.  Applications for sponsorship of an event must be received at least 30 days prior to the event date. Incomplete applications will not be considered for funding. All applicants will be notified on Alpine Bank’s funding decision by phone, mail, or email within six weeks of the grant request submission. Applications may be submitted to Ashley Kramer, head of community outreach, by email at [email protected].

Grant and Sponsorship Application Guidelines

Alpine Bank supports charitable organizations that enhance the quality of life in our Colorado River Valley regional bank footprint (Glenwood to Battlement).  Alpine Bank prefers to support organizations that possess a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit status.

  1. Alpine Bank will prioritize funding of organizations where the results will benefit youth and social needs for the community and public at large. Our grants are funded through our loyalty affinity debit card program. Grant monies from our loyalty funds and corresponding granting categories include: a) Arts, b) Community, c) Education, and d) Environment.
  2. Alpine Bank prefers to fund specific programs, events, and projects.
  3. Alpine Bank will consider a grant request (or requests, for multiple events or programs) from each organization once each calendar year.
  4. Funds will be disbursed no more than 60 days prior to the month in which the program, event or project takes place.  It is the responsibility of the organization requesting the grant to invoice Alpine Bank for the committed amount of funding.
  5. Alpine Bank requests a brief post-event summary describing how the funds were utilized and the progress in accomplishing the purposes of the grant.  Grantees are asked to please provide the report within 60 days of event or receipt of funds.  Subsequent applications from organizations that fail to submit a report may not be eligible for consideration.
  6. By accepting donations from Alpine Bank, the organization grants Alpine Bank the right to use the name, logo and/or photos of the organization for advertising and promotional purposes.

Funding Restrictions
