Alpine Bank has a long-standing commitment to support the communities we serve across Colorado. We are proud to partner with a diverse group of nonprofits that provide and create a greater sense of community in Mesa County. While we generously fund various organizations, we simply cannot fund every request. We consider requests without regard to race, gender, disability, religion, ethnicity or sexual orientation.
In Mesa County, Alpine Bank will accept grant/sponsorship applications on a monthly basis. The application deadline falls on the first business day of each month, and applications must be emailed no later than 4:00 p.m. Applications for sponsorship of an event must be received at least 90 days prior to the event date. Applications that are not complete will not be considered for funding. All applicants will be notified about Alpine Bank’s funding decision by mail/email within four weeks of the deadline. Grant and Sponsorship Application Guidelines
Alpine Bank supports charitable organizations that enhance the quality of life in Mesa County. Alpine Bank prefers to support organizations with a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status.
- Alpine Bank will prioritize funding of organizations where the results will benefit youth and social needs for the community and society at large.
- Alpine Bank prefers to fund specific programs, events and projects.
- Alpine Bank will consider funding to organizations no more than once in a calendar year.
- Funds will be disbursed no more than 60 days prior to the month in which the program, event or project takes place. It will be the responsibility of the organization to invoice Alpine Bank for the committed amount of funding.
- It will be the duty of the organization to furnish Alpine Bank with a brief summary report describing the manner in which the funds were spent and the progress being made in accomplishing the purposes of the grant. This report will be due within 60 days of your event or receipt of funds. Subsequent applications for organizations that fail to submit the required reports may not be eligible for consideration.
Funding Restrictions
Alpine Bank will not provide funding to the following:
- Organizations outside of Mesa County unless the project is held in Mesa County
- Individuals
- Political campaigns or organizations that publicly take political positions
- Conduit organizations where funding will be directly passed to other 501(c)(3). Alpine Bank will consider sponsorship of a conduit organization's event.
- Travel, trips and related expenses
- Deficit reduction
- Operational expenses
- Projects that have already been completed or that will be held prior to the funding decisions
- Research organizations or projects
- Startup costs for organizations
