Darla is a Colorado native, who for three decades has worked exclusively in the trust and estate field on Colorado's Front Range. Prior to becoming the President and Director of Alpine Bank Wealth Management, she served as Vice President and Trust Counsel for the organization. She has significant experience both as a practicing attorney and trust officer and is past chair of the Trust and Estate section of the Colorado Bar Association. Darla graduated with honors from Trinity University with a degree in philosophy and earned her law degree at the University of Colorado School of Law. She has served as an adjunct professor at the law school, where she taught Estate Planning and Wills and Trusts.
